  • We do not leave any waste in nature. It’s an act of honour and respect.
  • We finish our bike tour before dusk. Mountain rescuers have a day after work too.
  • We always stay on the trail.
  • We avoid unnecessary noise and skid marks.
  • We always drive attentively and slowly when encountering hikers.
  • We always treat hikers with respect and let them go first.
  • We always wear a helmet and bike equipment in perfect condition.

Trail rules

  • We wear a helmet and protective equipment.
  • We only ride on single trails with bikes that are suitable for them. Make sure your bike is in perfect technical condition.
  • We do not overestimate ourselves. We only ride on trails, that suit our cycling skills and physical condition. Stay safe.
  • We only ride just as fast so that we can stop at any time.
  • We watch out for slower bikers.
  • We pay attention to signs and follow them.
  • We use the cable cars only with clean bikes.
  • We do not ride with child seats (no matter in which form) or bicycle trailers!

Riding on the trails is at your own risk! We assume no liability for accidents or damage of property. The instructions of the cable cars’ staff must be followed. If a trail is closed (sign at the trail’s start), riding on the trail is absolutely prohibited. If the closure is ignored, your lift ticket can be withdrawn. Parts of the trails are on roads of public transport - here the road traffic regulations (StVO) apply.

What is to be done if something happens?

If you find someone who has injured themself:

Secure accident site! Administer first aid! Make an emergency call specifying place of accident (name of trail, number on sign, if available) and kind of injury. You can also report an accident at all cable car stations.

Mountain rescue service: 140

Furthermore, we recommend downloading the “SOS EU Alp App”. This app automatically sends your position and makes an emergency call.

Difficulty levels of single trails

Following difficulty levels exist:

  • Very easy single trails are marked green (S0). Green single trails are ideal for beginners and mountain bikers with a little or no trail experience. Basic knowledge of riding techniques, such as right position on the bike, balancing and correct use of brakes, is necessary.
