Zirbentrail

level of difficulty easy
marking blue
trail distance 9100m

With 9.1 km, the Zirbentrail on the north side of Fiss is the longest single track in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. It is based on three former tracks (Almtrail, Flüstertrail and Zirbentrail), which have been smartly connected and completely redesigned in specific sections to give bikers more action on more single track kilometers.

Starting at 2,600 m above sea level, the Zirbentrail flows through breathtaking, high alpine terrain towards the Fisser Joch from where it leads in gentle switchbacks, flowing curves and small and large waves to the Heustadldorf – the perfect feel-good station for a short rest: enjoy the sun, marvel at the panorama, get back on your bike and ride on.

In its last third, the single track finally dives into the eponymous Zirbenwald (Arolla Pine Forest), where a whole series of north-shore elements, waves and doubles allow for a varied choice of lines – guaranteeing both beginners and advanced bikers plenty of fun. There are hardly any limits to creativity here.

The easy (blue) single track overcomes a total of just under 790 m in altitude on its multi-faceted route from the Zwölferkopf summit to the Almbahn lower terminus.
