Everything you need to know for your bike park adventure: safety rules, protective gear, bike requirements, and important tips for fair and respectful coexistence on the trails.
Rules
Fair Play
- Only ride in the bike park with a valid ticket
- Take your garbage back with you, do not leave any garbage in the countryside. You will find garbage cans at the valley and mountain stations.
- Be considerate of other mountain sports enthusiasts and animals. You may come across freeroaming animals on the trails.
- Be considerate of slower bikers - without pushing or overtaking.
- Always follow the instructions of the bike park and cable car staff
Trail rules
- You must wear a helmet and knee protectors on all bike park trails and slope-style. We recommend a full-face helmet and other suitable protective equipment.
- Only ride a mountain bike (freeride or downhill bike) that is technically approved for the bike park.
- Only ride on the marked trails. Riding off the trails is strictly prohibited.
- Only ride downhill on the trails. Riding uphill and pushing is prohibited on all trails.
- Adapt your speed to the nature of the trail and the weather.
- Do not overestimate yourself or others. Only ride trails that are suitable for your ability and fitness level.
- Look up when re-entering the trail, bikers coming from above have right of way.
- Keep hard-to-see places clear. Do not stop behind crests or bends on the trail.
- Only ride North Shores (wooden structures) in dry conditions, as there is a risk of slipping.
- Only ride fast enough to be able to stop at any time.
- Pay attention to information boards and warning signs. Parts of the route may be closed due to damage or maintenance work.
- Do not ride with child seats or bicycle trailers.
If you disregard the rules, your lift pass may be revoked and you may be banned from riding.
Emergency signs
Please pay attention to the emergency signs. They are located on all major crossings and contain important information about your location in case of emergencies.

Emergency app "SOS EU ALP"
The app is intended for nature lovers and amateur athletes in Tyrol who have a smart phone with iOS or Android operating systems.
This is the only emergency app that is connected directly to the control center Tirol.
The main functions in an emergency include:
- Automatic transmission of personal and location data (GPS coordinates) to the control center Tirol via the internet or SMS.
- Establishing a telephone connection to the control center Tirol.
Bike park condition
The conditions of use of the Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis apply. These are available in the currently valid version under bike park rules & safety and are displayed at the ticket office and in the start area of the individual routes of the bike park.
The use of the Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is exclusively subject to these terms of use.
- Children under the age of 10 may only use the Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis if accompanied by an adult.
- Young people between the ages of 10 and 16 may use the Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis without adult supervision on presentation of a declaration of consent from a parent or guardian. Access to the bike park will be denied without a completed and signed declaration of consent
- Riding the trails and bike park areas is at your own risk!
- No liability is accepted for accidents or damage to property. We recommend taking out accident insurance including helicopter mountain rescue and liability insurance for personal injury and property damage to third parties.
- The instructions of the bike park and cable car staff must be followed at all times. When trails are closed (sign in the start area or in front of a trail section), riding is strictly prohibited. Parts of the trails are located on roads with public traffic - the Austrian Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) apply here.
If the rules are disregarded, your lift pass can be withdrawn and a driving ban issued.
- Tickets are non-transferable.
- Lost tickets will not be replaced.
- Access control is carried out by cable car staff and contactless readers.
- Any misuse of tickets will result in their immediate withdrawal and retention.
- The instructions of our bike park and cable car staff must be followed.
- According to the Railway Liability Act, which includes the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis cable cars, only guests with a valid ticket are covered by insurance.
- In the event of unforeseen weather situations, such as wind and thunderstorms or technical problems on the cable cars, which lead to the suspension of travel operations for safety reasons, there is no entitlement to a refund of tickets.
- Temporary trail closures may occur due to damage or maintenance work. There is no entitlement to a refund or discount on tickets if the trail offer is restricted.
- You can find out which trails are closed under trail status.
- The ticket can be refunded on presentation of a medical certificate. The refund is granted pro rata for the days used from the date of validity of the medical certificate.
- The individual services to which you are entitled are provided by legally independent companies. The company selling the card only acts as an agent for the other companies. Only the respective company is therefore obliged to provide the individual services and to pay compensation in the event of any incidents.
