Experience mountain biking at its best! In the courses offered by the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Bike School, you will learn how to improve your riding technique, master trails safely and get more flow on your bike. Our experienced guides tailor each session individually.
Frequently Asked Questions About Bike School Courses
No, the bike school prices cover the courses only. Bike rental and lift passes must be paid for separately.
A suitable bike and the equipment required for your course (listed under each course on our website), drinks and snacks, weather-appropriate clothing (possibly a spare shirt and trousers), and sunscreen.
You can find the exact equipment requirements under each course on our website. Knee pads and a helmet (full-face where required) are mandatory for all courses.
For the Squirrel course, a standard bike without a coaster brake (back-pedal brake) is sufficient.
For the Squirrel+ and Foxes courses, children need a hardtail mountain bike with disc brakes.
For all other courses that take place on our trails, a full-suspension bike approved for bike park use is required. The bike must be rated Category 4. Check the sticker on the frame or contact the manufacturer to confirm its rating.
Please arrive at the rental shop at least 30 minutes before your course begins so you’re ready to go and we can start on time.
The meeting point is directly in front of our bike school, between the pump track and the bike school office, by the meeting point flags. Address: Fisser Straße 50, 6533 Fiss.
Yes, our courses take place even in the rain. If weather conditions pose a risk to participants’ safety (e.g. thunderstorms or strong winds), we will stop the course as a precaution.
Backpacks and similar items can be left at the bike school office by prior arrangement. Please note that the office is locked when unattended (e.g. during lunch breaks). Items are left at your own risk; we accept no liability.
Alternatively, backpacks can be stored in the lockers right next to the turnstiles at the Waldbahn boarding area. You will need €2 coins to use these lockers.
Parents must be reachable at all times during children’s courses! Please make sure you have provided the correct phone number.
Our group courses are organised by age so that children have similar physical abilities and the group can progress together. This helps ensure that children are not at a physical disadvantage.
